Super Heroes

We bought Jimmy's Halloween Costume back in the beginning of September when the Halloween gear first appeared on the shelves. I thought it would be fun to have Jimmy look at the costumes while they were neatly organized on the shelves. You know, before all the shoppers distroy the aisle and make it impossible to find the particular size of the costume you're looking for. Jimmy immediatly fell in love with his Hulk costume and wanted to wear it every day!
The only problem with dressing up as the Hulk is that, the Hulk likes to jump on things and he likes to smash them with his hands. I still haven't let Jimmy watch the new Hulk movie, I'm afraid he'll start distroying everything in my home.
Just this last week my mother and I took a trip to the Peddler's Mall. (Like a flea market that's open everyday and no peddlers there to barder with). I was in search of a good trophy to use for my husband's golf tournament for his employees. Somehow Jimmy spotted a Mr. Incredible's Costume and had to have it! It was only eight dollars but missing the mask and gloves. He begged Lola ("grandma" in the Tagolin language) to buy it for him. He wore it for three days straight.
However, Jimmy doesn't think he's Mr. Incredible. He thinks that he is Dash, Mr. Incredible's blonde haired son who can run really, really fast. Every time I'd ask Jimmy to do something he'd do it by running as fast as he could.

I guess being a Super Hero is pretty hard work because everytime Jimmy plays dress up he always seems to pass out on the couch before nap time comes. My big boy is so wonderful, I love watching him grow and adore him when he uses his imagination.

We'll have to wait and see which costume Jimmy actually picks to wear for Halloween day.
