Robin - MIA

This is Robin. Robin is Batman's sidekick. Robin, Batman, and Jimmy go EVERYWHERE together. Except, one day, Robin decided to go on his own adventure.

Last week, Jimmy laid Robin down on the porch in the back yard. Well, before long, Robin was MIA. Our only guess, was that SuperDog might have eaten him. Jimmy took the news fairly well. I think he was more amazed that Super could eat a whole toy, and besides he still had Batman.


I was pretty mad. No I was ticked. I knew the frustration this would cause in the weeks to come. Security items have always been a part of Jimmy's life, but we've always had multiples of it to take the other's place. As a toddler we had about 6 Tie Blankets that Jimmy would take turns carrying around. Next was Blues Clues, followed by Cars T-Shirts/toys, and now Batman. Batman would be easy to replace, but Robin only comes with the Batcave. I'd have to buy the whole Batcave again, just to replace Robin. Plus these two have been awesome security toys. They are so small and durable.

Well, on Monday the whole family was having some Trampoline fun in the backyard. I decided to take a turn around the yard to see if I could find the missing, tiny action figure. What do ya know! In the back corner of the yard, the corner that Super typically treats as a Toilet, I found him. Right ontop of a nice, ugly, pile of poop. He's missing some coloring on his hair, but that's about all the damage Super's digestive tract did to the tiny toy. There are no teethe marks or anything, the darn dog must of swallowed the toy whole.

So after a nice soaking in some bleach water, and a soothing bubble in boiling water, Batman and Robin and Jimmy are together again. Yeah, happy endings!
