It's Snowing in Kentucky!

The boys were so excited to wake up on Thursday to all the snow!! They both sat at the window and watched Daddy clean off his truck. They didn't cancel school, so Jimmy still had to go. Only 5 kids showed up in his class that day. The rest just stayed home!

When Jimmy got home from school, we all went out to play!

Neddy-bear watching the snow fall.

The first thing they did was make snow angels. Jimmy was so proud of his.

Jimmy looks like he's about to do something naughty in this one.

They had so much fun wrestling in the snow. Even the dog joined in!

Too bad the snow was too soft to make a snow man.

Ned loved the snow. He refused to go inside. He found his way into the backyard and tried to play with all his toys. It's been too cold lately to go outside, so I guess he really missed his stuff.

They loved jumping in the snow.

When your child's cheeks get that red, you know you've been outside too long.
We had to carry Ned back into the house. He was kicking and screaming and clawing to stay outside!
It's amazing how different two children can be. I remember Jimmy's first snow. He was miserable. He refused to wear gloves, his hands were freezing. All he wanted to do was get back inside. Ned, on the other hand, thought it was the best thing ever.
It's Saturday now, and it's still coming down in little scattered flurries. Dale only went to work one day this week.
Some Christmas postings here to come, so stay tuned!

how fun! I've been a bum and haven't taken Sydney out in the snow much, it's been way too cold, windy and deep to play in our yard. Good for you for taking them out there!
